Phil is a Senior Software Engineer at Megaport, specializing in Infrastructure as Code, developer tooling, and cloud automation. Megaport is a global leader in Network as a Service (NaaS), providing instant, secure, and on-demand connectivity to the world's leading cloud providers, data centers, and SaaS platforms across 800+ enabled locations worldwide.

He maintains the Megaport Terraform Provider, which has over 3.7 million all-time downloads (2.1 million in 2025 alone). The provider currently drives approximately 7% of all company product orders, supporting a platform that generated $227M AUD in revenue in FY25.

Phil received Megaport's 2024 Engineering Team Award for his impact on revenue growth and was selected as a speaker for the HashiConf 2025 Hallway Track to present on Infrastructure as Code architecture.

His technical work focuses on building enterprise systems that are reliable and scalable—including Kubernetes orchestration with NATS Jetstream, Redis-backed rate-limiting, and secure dashboards built with Vue.js.
